Colville Simms is my 3 or 4 grandparents. I do have much Simms/Sims information if you are interested. Jeremiah Prater Sims married one of Henchy Cary Johnson's daaughter who also went to Walton Co to get married. 5 years ago I found a reference to their Henchy's marriage in Walton Co Loose records but can't be back to it! I am not sure if Catharine (name spelled on marrieage cert) may be sister to Henchy. His marriage date to Elizabeth Johnson (Baker) was June 6 1830 or 1836... I've always heeard we had indians in the family and that is the time of the Creek War... I'd love to know why they went to Walton Co to marry... I'll be glad to share.....
