I am trying to find more information regarding David Myers, who was born abt. 1799 in South Carolina. He shows up on the 1840 Broken Arrow district of Walton County, GA, and stayed in Walton County presumably until his death after 1880, where he is shown in Broken Arrow.

The death certificate of one of his sons lists the son's mother/David's wife as Sallie, and her maiden name began with a "D," but I can't make out the entire surname for Sallie.

Children include Elizabeth A., born abt 1827; Rachel, born about 1833; David C., born about 1835; Richard S., born about 1838; Sarah J., born about 1841; Joel C., born about 1843. These are the children listed on the 1850 Walton County census. Also listed with David in that census are Mary A.E., maybe his current wife?

In the 1860 Walton County census are listed David with Mary E., Joel, Safronia <sic>, Eugenia (born about 1850), Mary (born about 1853), and Nancy (born about 1858).

The line I am researching comes through the son, Richard S. Myers, whose daughter, Frances Z. Myers, married John B. Tribble, son of Walton P. and Nancy Smith Tribble of Walton County.

Thanks for ANY help!
