Hello,

I am researching this Stewart family.

I am looking for parents names of this John Stewart b. 1859-d.1890 in Walton Co., GA.

Looking for 2nd marriage of John B. Stewart to Lula Wilson ca 1883 or so and births of their 3 children/

John B. Stewart was born (per Find A Grave site) Feb. 5th, 1859 and died Dec. 16, 1890 (buried at Annie Mary Church Cem. in Walton County, GA). He married 1st Julia A. Fambrough she born Dec. 5th 1859 and she died April 13, 1882, unknown if they had children or not.

John B. Stewart remarried sometime after 1882 and before 1884 to Lula C. Wilson born 1862.

She is listed in the 1900 Census of Brook, Walton County, GA with children,
"Julue"/Julie, dau. born 1884,
"Elma"/Elmer son born 1886 and
"Alim"/Alvin Jesse Stewart born Feb. 26th, 1890-d. March 12, 1953 in Greene County, GA.

In 1910 she is in Union Point, Greene County, GA listed as "Sula" on Ancestry.com with son "Elma"/Elmer age "20" would be 24.

In 1920 she is in Union Point, Greene County, GA and in 1930, also.

She died May 21, 1933 in Greene County, GA & is buried in Wisteria Cem. and her maiden name is listed as "Wilson" and her husband is listed as "John B. Stewart", she was a widow in 1900 Census on per Walton County 1900 Census, where John B. Stewart died in Dec. 1890.

Does anyone know the parents of this John B. Stewart? I believe they are Pincney/Pinkney Alexander Stewart and Sarah/Sara "Jane" Herring. They are listed in the 1860 AL census, with Jane listed as "James" (but if you look at the census you can see the error) "housewife", age 18 with son John. I cna't find Pincney/Pinkney after the 1860 Census which may indicate he died in the War or from natural causes.

Would the 1890 death record indicate his parents names in GA?

Thank you for any help.

Sincerely,
Marilyn LeVeque
