I descend from E O Early Oscar Epps and Anna Lee Herndon Epps who are buried in Mars Hill Cemetery. I would love to chat with you re: "Sunnie" and the Epps line. I have obits on Otis Thomas, William Henry, Luther and have found where Sara passed, but no obit yet. Sara married Roy Crouch. I have photos of all of these people. My Uncle Thomas Jerome Epps and his first cousin Jack Couch both state that they once saw a toombstone for Susan Hodges in Bethabara church cemetery. In my notes I had stated: buried near a cedar tree at Berbetha Church on Monroe Hwy Dark Corner area. This was acording to TJ & Jack. However, I went to the cemetery to photograph toombstones and it was evident there were some missing. I also found some information in Jackson Co., GA where EO was handling the estate of the children of Susan Epps. There was also information in the Walton Co., GA courthouse re: the children of Susan Epps. From Watinville travel highay 53 to 78, turn left at intersection. Cemetery is located immediately on right across from Bethabra Church. Graves listed in the cemetery transcription book of Oconee County, GA by Clarke-Oconee Genealogical Society Inc. listes the following people: Hodges, B. H. b 25 June 1858 d 22 Aug 1887 Hodges, Mrs. J. T. d 5 Sept 1889 age 37 years Hodges, Thomas b 17 Feb 1825 d 15 Dec 1887 Hodges, William b 1818 - d 20 Nov 1852 E. O. "Early Oscar" Epps married Susan Hodges in Oconee Co., GA on 20 Dec 1880. E. O. "Early Oscar" Epps married Anna "Annie" Lee Herndon in Walton Co., GA on 31 May 1891.
