I know this family. Lottie Floyd was the daughter of Martha E. (Ella) Hammons, who married Edwin Richard Floyd. Leila was a sister of Lottie. According to my mother, Charles E. Hawkins was principal of Loganville High Schoo. Their daughter Miriam was about my mother's age. Lottie died of cancer when she was 12 years old. They are buried in Hillcrest cemetery, Loganville, GA. On Charles's grave is the information that he was a veteran of World War I: GA 2nd Lt. Infantry.

I'm only periferally related to these folks, but Charles's mother-in-law, Ella Hammons Floyd, was sister to Eliza Caldonia Hammons Hodges, my great-grandmother.

I'm pretty new at genealogy, but if I can help you, I'll be glad to do so.
