According to the Walton Co page, Mt. Enon Baptist Church Cemetery is a black cemetery. The Locklin family that I am researching is caucasian.
Billy Ray Locklin of Rockdale, Milam Co., TX, had told me once that he knew that his surname had come from his family being slaves of the Locklin family that had come from GA to TX. I suppose the same might apply to those buried in the Mt. Enon Cemetery. If anyone is interested in these photos, I'd be glad to email a copy of them to you. I'd also be interested in knowing if the same assumption is made regarding these same Locklin's in GA.
