My g-grandparents are James H Holloway and Ann Ballard McCormack Holloway. They were married in Jackson Co., AL in 1866. They each had been married previously and had children. My grandfather, James J Holloway, was their 2nd child and he was born in 1869 in either GA or AL. James H was born about 1823 probably in TN. He joined the Confederate army in Walker County. We do not know anything about his parents, siblings, etc. Do you have an Almarine Holloway in your research? He was in Walker Co. in the 1850 census. I think Almarine could be a key player in my research. He was born about 1817-1819. He is the right age to be a sibling of my James H. I have seen a picture of him and the resemblance to my grandfather and father is remarkable. Jane
