I have an old piece of paper that was notarized on October 8, 1937. It is a birth record for the children of David Wesley Hobbs and Elizabeth Jane Smith. They lived in Walker County, GA.

It says:

"We, J.F. Hobbs and Mary L. Hobbs, do hereby certify that the forgoing is a true and correct copy of the births of the children of Wesley Hobbs and E.J. Hobbs, as taken from the original entries made in their Family Bible."

The names listed are:
Wesley Hobbs (b. Dec. 24, 1839)
E.J. Hobbs (b. June 3, 1844)
Mary Hobbs (b. Feb. 3, 1861)
Charley A.B. Hobbs (b. Sept. 26, 1864)
John F. Hobbs (b. June 17, 1867)
Thomas Hobbs (b. Dec. 6, 1869)
William L. Hobbs (b. June 19, 1872)
Vestia J. Hobbs (b. Sept. 15, 1875)
S.H. Hobbs (b. Sept. 2, 1878)
Judson C. Hobbs (b. Dec. 26, 1880)
A.G. Hobbs (b. Nov. 26, 1883)
James O. Hobbs (b. March 12, 1886)
Jesse C. Hobbs (b. July 12, 1889)

Wesley Hobbs and E.J. Smith were married Sept. 24, 1859.

Please let me know If you are researching this line and would like a scanned image of the document.
