Yes, I have checked all the census' and have all the info they contain. Apparantly Jemimah, was transcribed as Jeremiah. Looks plainly to be Jemimah to me. I was wondering when I posted if someone from that area might have info on the family, or possibly some connection. I can't find out which Garner Jemimah (maiden name unknown) married. Thank you for the suggestion. Dianne

PS--He is listed in the 1870 census as Carner, and is living with the Parker family. He later married my g-grandma, Mary Parker.
