John Ross/Princess Blue Feather
Posted by: Lona Brannon (ID *****1987) Date: November 04, 2005 at 14:45:15

Would anyone have info as to whether Chief John Ross, a chief of the Cherokees, had a sister by the Native American name of Princess Blue Feather? Supposedly a Princess Blue Feather is buried in an unmarked grave in Algood Cemetery, also known as Massey Cemetery, in Flintstone, Walker County, Georgia. I can't imagine this not being true with 'family' sharing this info while visiting the cemetery from Michigan. I have not been able to come up with the Native American names of the siblings of John Ross, if they had them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Lona Brannon
