tombstone found in Dade Co GA

A county patrolman recently found a tombstone beside the road here in Dade County.

The stone reads: "Oliver, son of M. L. & Willie ALLEN," May 19, 1904 - Aug 12, 1905.

I have checked my recordings of the cemeteries here in the county but did not find a grave for this child. I have also checked the 1900 and 1910 censuses (including Dade and Walker GA, Hamilton and Marion TN and Jackson Co AL) for a M. L. Allen without success.

If anyone has any information regarding this Allen family please contact me so that the tombstone can be returned to where it belongs.

Thank you.

Sue Forrester
