I have a Formof a Declaration
State of Georgia

Stephen Bryant appeared before JP. Age 70 residen of Cherokee Co. AL. Declares he is the Identical person who was a Soldierin the Comp cammaded by Captian Garrison reg of 1st Cl?? commanded by Mc Intosh in tehh war 1812.
Witnesses R. H. Caldwell and George W. Lumpkin with Magistrates Cert. James N. rogers. this went on to tell more that his Lawery was Thomas Lumpkin of Washington City D.C. who I believe is George'w W. Lumpkin Father? I know that George W. Lumpkin is Stephen Bryants Son In Law, But was wondering about the R.H> or R.N. Caldwell if there is a connection to the Bryant or Lumpkin line. Stephen Bryant also on 1860 census Walker Co. GA. This Stephen Bryant also had connection with the Cherokee Co. of GA. were he file for Land Bounty. 1851. Billie
