Will anyone who has Ancestry.Com Please try to find My Great-Grandfather Thomas Tritt ad family in 1860 census.
The family members should be: Dvault T. Or Thomas Tritt born abt 1824 with wife Nancy Tritt, children:1- Ellen born abt 1855, 2-John Jefferson born 1856,3- Mary Ann born 1859.
Also if anyone has Access to the Cival war Registry--- Devault Thomas was supposed to have been killed durng this time. He could have been with the Northern soldiers or the southern. He came to Ga. after 1850 from Haywood Co. N.C. and married Nancy Ann Logan in 1853 in Union Co. Ga. The two younger ch. were in Union Co. in the 1870 censis in the Household of Nancy's father-- James Jefferson Logan. Where was Nancy in this census? Family handdown lore was the Devault (Thomas) went back North to fight with his people.
Thanks for any help.
