There is a small notation in a book The History Of Twiggs Co re Jesse Hollingsworth.
he was a messenger in Mount Pleasant Baptist churchin 1819.the church dissolved in 1820.
there was a Cornelius Hollingsworth who was a trustee in a school called The Pleasent Grove Academy in 1838.James H. who was associated with Bersheba Baptist church and later called Beach Springs 1836-1845.John H was a Pvt in the war of 1812 in twiggs co.
There is mentioned that the Baptist association minutes are filed at Mercer University library in Macon Ga for those churches that are non existant. I hope this info helps you in your quest. Anne
