Faye,

I would very much appreciate it if you could check the substitute Twiggs County census books for any entries for William Barnes. A William Barnes appears in the 1830 (William Sr.?) and 1840 (William Jr. ?) Twiggs Co. censuses. I'm trying to track down the William Barnes said to be the father of Jerusha Barnes who married James Stevens in 1840 in Wilkinson Co.

Thank you very much for your time.

Don
