Bobbi, I know very little about the Wade family there in Twiggs County. Except, there was a Wade family who were members in the very early days of the Stone Creek Baptist Church, and their name is definately on their membership rolls. It was probably the family of Jesse Wade, because a Jesse Wade was on the early list in Twiggs County for the land lottery and obtained 400+ acres in that deal. His family was apparently on the census records there throughout the early 1800s at least up until abt. 1850.
