I would appreciate references to newspaper articles in the Twiggs County Georgia area dealing with the murder of this man between 1825 and 1829:

Nimrod Phillips

In April 1829, Joseph Williams was executed in Marion, Twiggs County GA for Nimrod Phillips' murder.

This reference comes from an unknown newspaper. I would like to know when the murder occurred and any specifics concerning the murder.
