Allen Fleming shown as a teacher in 1827 Allen Fleming is on the 1833 Tax Digest, with a note indicating Attorney at Law. From published reports: Gen Thaddeus G. Holt married Miss Nancy Fleming Dec 18, 1828 in Marion, Twiggs County. G. C. Moffett, Esq Attorney of Marion, Twiggs County, married Miss Agnes Fleming, daughter of the late James Fleming of Columbia County, May 17, 1820. Hope some of this helps.
