I have found some references to Paul families in Twiggs County, including one family Bible. I have scanned these pages into a document (pdf) that I will email to you. Maybe you can get some leads on your family. I also found an 1830 census with a William Paul, though I don't know which William Paul it is. I will send that as well. I hope I am reading your email address correctly. Let me know if you receive the documents.
