If you are still doing look ups from the substitute Twiggs books, could you check for any "Paul" family-perhaps spelled Paull. My husbands gg grandfather William Paul was said to be born in Twiggs County in 1808. I only have the Worth County Georgia History Book that contains that fact other than some oral family history. I cannot find any "Paul" familes in Twiggs County at any time. He is also said to have been married in Bibb County in 1830 but again I cannot find him in Bibb County. I would appreciate any scrap of info. William Paul simply cannot be found in records prior to 1850 in Baker County, Georgia and by then he and wife Melvina Minchew Paul already had 7 children said to have been born in Bibb County.
