Thank you so much for the information. It is very helpful and I really appreciate it! I have one more question for you or for anyone who might be able to answer. John Methvin, Sr. was first married to Mourning Glover. It is said that Mourning Glover died circa 1851 - we have no exact date or place of burial. However, her father, Kelly Glover wrote a will in Nov., 1852 and he died in 1853. In this will, he refers to Mourning as a surviving child. The will states that, "It is my will and desire that my executors hereinafter named should take charge of the balance of my estate and have it equally divided among my surviving children, or their children, except my daughter, Mourning Methvin (born 1814, married John Methvin)". He includes her with his surviving children. Then, in the Jefferson County Marriage books, a Mrs. Mourning Glover is married to Noah Price on Nov. 29, 1853. Did Mourning Glover actually die then or did she just leave her husband - which could be why she was excluded from her father's will? Does anyone know about this?
Thank you again for all your help - I really appreciate it!!
