Could I get a Lookup in any Census or Book for Marion, Twiggs Co., Georgia in and around 1820...?
My ancestor: Jacob Giddens (b.Sept.18,1793, Wayne Co., NC)
married Eliza (Baldwin)Waters (b. June 3, 1804 ???
Date of marriage: April 1817
This would make her 12yrs old, almost 13 when they
married.
Jacob fought in the Battle of 1812 from NC
They had their first??? child in 1824
They moved to Barbour Co., Ala., then to NW Bienville Parish, La in or about `1847-1850 era and died in Louisiana.
I have all the names of their children, etc.
Also, George W. Moore (Sr.) b. 1793 first wife died about 1831-32 then he married Polly ________ they lived in Twiggs Co., Ga. about the same time. They may have been in the 1820-1830-1840 Census, can't find them. Have found them in Tallapoosa Co. Ala. in 1850-1860 census. There were several children by each marriage.
George W.Moore (Jr.) married Eliza Jane Giddens in Barbour Co. Ala. in 1853-have marriage record. George (Jr.) ran away from home at age 16.
