Hello my name is Micah King. I was wondering does anyone have any white or Native American Allens that lived in Troup or Harris county Georgia, who owned slaves. I am trying to research my third great grand father Wesley Allen. He was born between 1850-1859 and was a slave when they freed the slaveshe wasabout 12 years old. On the 1880 census he was listed as Black living in Davidson in Harris county Georgia. My family says he was half Black half Cherokee, but when I looked at the picture of him he looked like he could have been mulatto or mixed with Black, White, and Cherokee. Any information anyone has would be a great help.
