Allen Stone married Claudia Marie Elder, circa 1920, in either Alabama or Georgia. I think they had around 9 children. Only three have known birth years: Virginia Ruth Stone, b: 1921 (m: Emmit Dougherty); Ella Bea Stone, b: 1925 (m: several marriages, Unk Hart); & Lillie Merle Stone, b: 1935 (m: Winston Craven). The 6 with unknown birth years are: Donald Stone (m: Unk Brenda), Tiny Stone (m: Unk McCrary), Ann Stone (m: Unk), Jean Stone (m: Unk Hay), Judy Stone (m: Unk Wright), and Allen Stone (m: Unk).
Allen Stone served his Country during WWI: Alabama, PFC, 258 Co., Mil Pol Corps. He is the son of William Allen Stone & Martha Martiny "Tiny" Royster, the grandson of William Stone & Martha Ann Brooks, and the great grandson of Rowland/Rollin Stone & Frances Harriett Coleman.
I would love to have contact with a descendant of the Stone family for sharing of family history, records, & photos. I am related to the Stone family through Jessie Beatrice Stone, d/o William Allen Stone & Martha Martiny "Tiny" Royster. Jessie and Allen (subject of this message) were siblings, and born in Clay County, AL. Please help me fill in the missing information on this branch of the Stone family. Thanks!
