Millington Scoggin died in Troup County in 1841. He was married to Mary H. Carter. This was his second marriage. They were married in Clarke County, GA in 1822. The children from this marriage are (I believe): Sarah C., Millington M., William Carter, Nancy C., George W., Susan F., Matilda I. I believe he had the following children from his first marriage: Sanders, Lucinda, Josiah, Robinson, Elizabeth, Mary, and Martha. I know nothing about Mary H. Carter. Would anyone know about her? I find her on the 1850 census as a widow. In 1860 I believe she is living with her daughter, Sarah C., in Heard county. I would appreciate any information about Mary H.
