Mattox/Maddox -- Hill Family

I'm looking for a Riley Mattox who married a Mariah Hill in Carroll Cty, GA in 1846. They lived in Troup Cty from about 1848 until about 1857 when they moved to Calhoun Cty, Alabama before the 1860 census. They later moved to Cherokee Cty, Alabama after the Civil War. Their children included James Monroe Mattox (b. @ 1846), Mariah Elizabeth (b. @ 1847), Melvina (b. @ 1849), John Q. A. (b. @ 1855), Riley A., and Margaret (b. @ 1860).

I noticed that there were three William Mattox/ Mattocks married in Troup Cty around the same time and I'm wondering if there might be a connection. William Mattox m. Mary A. Mays 2/6/1844, William Mattox m. Elizabeth Maginty 7/2/1848, and William Mattocks m. Maria Strong 11/21/1850 all in Troup Cty. If anyone has anymore info on any of these families I'd appreciate it.
