My grandmother was Mary C. Denton, daughter of George Denton and Catherine Wood. Catherine Wood's parents were William Wood and Nancy Osborn. I only have 4 names for their children, however I am sure there are more. I have Catherine, (my g grandmother)b. 1819-- James Franklin Wood b. Jan 13, 1821 in Hiawassee, Union Co., Ga. --Nancy Wood b. 1849 in Hiawassee, Union Co., Ga.--Charles Wood b. 1841 Hiawassee, Union Co., Ga. -We also have a connection on the Chastain Family.
