R.T. Stanaland,is listed as a founding member of Liberty Baptist Church in Grooverrville in 1843.In 1843 Grooverville was in Thomas County but was set off into Brooks County in 1858. He is mentioned several times in the minutes of Liberty's business meeting during the next years.Copy of these minutes are now located in the Thomasville Genealogical, History & Fine Arts Library, Tomasville, Ga.
