MARY HEARN PARK(S)
Posted by: Robert Holley (ID *****1758) Date: April 23, 2003 at 13:27:19

Searching for any information on MARY HEARN PARK(S),
the eldest child of Geo. W. and Mary Ann (Byrd) Hearn.

All I really have to go on are the handwritten notes of an
elderly Hearn relative that listed various information
about the Hearn family members:

" Mary Parks 1856 - ___........ Meigs (Midway "

Using the other entries to compare with, Park(s) was
her married name, she was born 1856, died unknown,
and she either went to, lived in, or died in Meigs (Midway
[which probably is Meigs GA; most recent family info shows
that she may have lived around Meigs/Camilla GA
someplace.. and probably died by the 1920s...possibly
buried in Midway Church Cemetery near Meigs]

George Washington and Mary Ann Hearn were married in
Oct 1854 in Stewart Co. GA. By 1860, the family had removed
to Russell Co., AL. By 1870, it is likely they were in
Lee Co., AL... Chances are good that daughter Mary
Hearn married in Alabama or Georgia around 1880.

There is a Richard S. Park who married a Mary Hearn
in Puntam Co. GA, but this is not the one we are looking for.
