Linda,
I have been through Dawson, GA but at the time I didn't know that I had links to what I also remember as a very small town. However, I have found a reference that my L. "Jasper Carter" operated a "trolley" in Dawson. I don't have my research out right now, but I believe this was about 1870. This seems pretty amazing to me considering the size of Dawson now. I would sure like to know more about this trolley and maybe if Dawson was allot different back then.
Thanks again and God bless you, Donnis
