Thank you so much!L.J. Carter was Littleton
Jasper Carter and he was my g.g. grandfather. I
have a copy of a his confederate Military records and his lump sum Ga Sate pension settlement,
pitiful as it was even for the times considering
the lose of limps and the unbelieveable suffering that he endure.

I also have copies of all the Carter marriage certificates that you listed plus several others, BUT what I didn't know was about the Herod and Parrott Baptist Churches. Which btw makes perfect sense since I know that my Carters later attended the Missionary Union Baptist in Miller County.

I am wondering now if the Herod and Parrott Baptist Churches might still have any old records, and what Carters are buried there. Thanks again ever so much for such wonderful clues! May God bless you, Donnis
