In Reply to: Jones women married to Davenport men - 1800s Webster and Terrell Co., GA by Beverly Brock of 183

These Davenports were on the Censuses in Tift County in 1910, 1920, and 1930, but the Davenport men, Dan and Jim P. are buried in Cutts Cemetery, near where the Old Richland Baptist Church was in Stewart Co., GA.

James and Daniel were brothers, born in Alabama. They married sisters, my great-great-aunts Nancy Ann and Francis A. Jones of Stewart Co. and lived in Webster Co. in 1880 and and in Terrell Co. in 1900

Daniel and Francis had at least 3 children, Samuel, Mary F., and William S. A William S. Davenport is buried in Tift Co., died in 1909, age about 23 years.

James and Nancy Ann had at least one child, Margarett.
