Mary Lou, I found a Jacob Fussell (maybe a son?). This Jacob was in the Civil War, Company H, 20th Georgia Regiment. This is all that is said about him, "Jacob Fussell, Henry, privates; served in all principal battles." (note: this looks like two men named Fussell.

There is mention of one other Fussell-- Martha who married George M. Williams and they had ten children. He, too, was in the Civil War and there is a paragraph or two about him, He enlisted in Company 10th Georgia Regiment from Hawkinsville. He died in Fitzgerald, GA, in 1905. Not the Williams you are looking for but perhaps related. Sorry this was all I could find on any of the names. Ramona
