Would someone know of a source that could find, if such exists, the newspaper that would have published obituraries in 1915 in Telfair County? My G/G/Grandfather, George W. Whitehead, b. 1849, died 1915 (month unknown), and lived in Suomi, Dodge County, Ga. He is buried in the Chauncy Methodist Cemetery. His wife was Catherine Blakey Adams, b.1855, Gwinnett County, Ga. Geo. Adams was not originally from Dodge County, his daughter, Mrs. Emory Reid married and moved to Eastman, and her parents followed. I have checked with the Dodge county sources and have found no information on Geo.Adams, it was suggested I request a lookup from Telfair County, as Chauncey is in the southern part of Dodge Co. it would be likely an obit would have been published in Telfair. I need to know if possible, if it gives a place of birth, and hopefully his parents. Many thanks.
