Eugene L. St. Claire, 1865-1916:
Looking to find any information regarding Dr. St. Claire's family, i.e. his wife's name. The 1900 Tattnall census for Glennville, shows his wife's initials as "A. E. St. Claire" and a small daughter, (I think E.F.) bn Feb. 1898.
He was a FreeWill Baptist minister, and was organizer and pastor of the local church there.

His wife died shortly before he did (his obit says), but her name is not stated in the obit. He had gone to Florida to improve his health and died while there, and his body was brought back to the Ebenezer Cem. for burial, where a small son is buried. Maybe there is some notice in the local newspaper archives?
He was blind later in life, probably read Braille, and was very active. If anyone can look-up anything to give me a clue on Mrs. St. Claire's given name, I'd be most appreciative. Someplace, I came up with the name "Augusta"...but that is unproven.
Thank you.
