Graces In 1860 Tattnall Co
Posted by: Beuford Durrence (ID *****3974) Date: July 14, 2010 at 23:05:38

I have discovered a census error and would like to leave a correction for anyone who happens to be researching the Grace family of Tattnall Co. There is a Grace household identified as:
Harriette Grace 35
Osburn Grace 20
Bihure Grace 12
George Grace 10
James Tootle 21

The Harriette Grace is the daughter of Uriah and Sarah Rogers Harden. She appears to have married one of the Graces in Tattnall Co. and became a widow before the 1860 Census. The other males in the household identified as Graces are her brothers Osburn, Bihure, and George Harden. They are identified as Auston, Belen, and George Harden in their mother's household in 1850 Tattnall Co., GA. The James Tootle is James H. Tootle who must have been working for Harriette Harden Grace.
