13 Jun 1805. Bond. Keziah Stradley and Richard Gittins are bound for $250 so that Keziah Stradley will keep the peace particularly to Nimrod Stradley until next court. Tattnall County, Georgia, Loose Papers.

20 Sep 1805. Bond. Nimrod Stradley and Hardy Wood are bound for $250 so that Nimrod Stradley will appear at the next court to prosecute Keziah Stradley for robbery. Tattnall County, Georgia, Loose Papers.

20 Sep 1805. Warrant. Keziah Stradley says Dempsey Wood assaulted and abused here on September 20. He raised a chair and swore that he split her brains out. Bond. Dempsey Woods and Nimrod Stradley are bound for $250 so that Dempsey Wood will appear at the next court. Tattnall County, Georgia, Loose Papers.

October 1805. Nimrod Stradley and David Stradley were called for jury duty. Tattnall County, Georgia, Superior Court Records, 1805-1832, page 3.

October 1805. Nimrod Stradley and Kisier Stradley were on jury that found Dempsey Wood guilty of assault. Tattnall County, Georgia, Superior Court Records, 1805-1832, page 5.

October 1805. Nimrod Stradley was on jury that found Elisha Payne guilty of biting and disfiguring someone. Tattnall County, Georgia, Superior Court Records, 1805-1832, page 6.

18 Dec 1805. Warrant. John Bruner says he has reason to believe that Nimrod Stradley and Jacob Adams did "feloniously kill and conceal a certain steer" belonging to Martin Hardin. Bond. Nimrod Stradley and Jacob Adams, William Ford and Hardy Wood are bound for $200 so that Nimrod Stradley and Jacob Adams shall appear at the next court in April. 14 Apr 1806. Nimrod Stradley and Jacob Adams were charged with Indictment, larceny. David Stradley was charged with assault. Tattnall County, Georgia, Superior Court Records, 1805-1832, pages 10 and 12.

April 1806. Nimrod Stradley and Patsy Keating were indicted for living in adultery from 25 Dec 1804 to 10 Oct 1805 at the house of Jacob Adams. Tattnall County, Georgia, Superior Court Records, 1805-1832, page 13.

April 1806. The Grand Jury charged Nimrod Stradley, yeoman, and Jacob Adams, yeoman, with theft. On 10 Nov 1805, they stole with force on the range of the Dead River in Tattnall County one steer branded with the letters MH of the value of 10 cents of the goods of Martin Hardin. 12 Apr 1806. Bond. William Ford and John Ford are bound for $250 so that William Ford will appear at the next Superior Court on the 14th as a witness on behalf of the State against Nimrod Stradley and Jacob Adams. Tattnall County, Georgia, Loose Papers.

15 Apr 1806. Warrant. An indictment was made against David Stradley for assault. He is to be taken into custody. Tattnall County, Georgia, Loose Papers.

25 Apr 1806. Petition. Keziah Stradley says she married Nimrod Stradley about 23 years ago and has lived with him and behaved herself as an industrious wife. She had not great cause to complain of the conduct and treatment of Nimrod Stradley, her husband, until 25 Oct 1804 when he became intimate with and attached to Patsy Keating, who Nimrod has since lived in a state of adultery and has driven his wife from his bed and board and refused to give her any support. He has beat and abused Keziah in a shameful manner and threatened her life. She thinks it is impossible to live with him and wants her portion of the estate (the greater part he got when he married her). She asks for a horse and property and 4 Negroes, a large stock of cattle and hogs, some household and kitchen furniture, one tract of land lying in Baldwin County equal to $3,000. Nimrod Stradley is required to appear before court the second Monday of October. Tattnall County, Georgia, Loose Papers.

13 Oct 1806. David Stradley was found guilty of assault and paid $10 in costs Tattnall County, Georgia, Superior Court Records, 1805-1832, page 17.

October 1806. Nimrod Stradley and three other defendants indicted on charges of larceny have failed to appear for court for the third time now. Tattnall County, Georgia, Superior Court Records, 1805-1832, page 25.

October 1808. Nimrod Stradley selected to be a petit juror. Tattnall County, Georgia, Superior Court Records, 1805-1832, page 51.

October 1808. Nimrod Stradley indicted for assault and battery. Tattnall County, Georgia, Superior Court Records, 1805-1832, page 57.

October 1809. Nimrod Stradley and David Stradley indicted for larceny. On 1 Apr 1809, they stole one heifer big with calf of Thomas and David Lapsley. Tattnall County, Georgia, Superior Court Records, 1805-1832, page 66.
