The records of the First Baptist Church at Glennville contain no mention of the name Mock during the period in question. So evidently the parents of Leo Daniel Mock were not members of the church.

The 1900 U.S. Federal Census of Tattnall County reveals no family by the name of Mock living in the immediate area of Glennville.
