Pioneers of Tattnall - Early 1800's

I have a copy of a land warrant dated 2 Jan 1815 for my 4ggrandfather, MAJOR TYRE. Land was on the waters of the Ohoopee River in Tattnall Co., GA. To the east of these 150 acres was COLEMAN LAND. Any descendents of this family? Major's son, JOHN TYRE also had property in Tattnall on the Ohoopee in 1816. His neighboring lands owned by Elijah Bowen and McGregor. John Tyre m. Bathsheba Ogden.

Researching also Surnames: Tyre, Bennett, Hall, Morgan, Carter, George, Reddish, Ogden, Strickland, Sikes, Cannon, Bowen, Moody. All these families were in Georgia approximately the same time.

Any info would be greatly appreciated,

L. J. Tyre
