Is there a very detailed map of Taliaferro co Ga that would show a stream called Sandy Run that was off Hardens or Hardins Creek. My ancestor George Ray bought land in the early 1790's on Sandy Run that was owned by Samuel Harper when it was Wilkes co Ga. Also, George Ray must have died between 1819 and 1823 because in 1823 the executors of George Ray went to court to get the land back that they had sold to someone who apprently did not pay for the land. I know that area became Taliaferro co Ga in 1825 so if someone has the records please check to see when the land owned by George Ray on Sandy Run of Hardens or Hardins Creek was sold and who it was sold to.
