I have seen my great-great-great grandfather's family in Taliaferro Co. in the 1830 Census. His name was Urial Farmer, b.1772 in GA., d. 4 Dec 1847 in Tuscaloosa, AL. Was married to Agnis Allen, b.1775 in GA. d.1860 in Tuscaloosa, AL.Do not know if they were born in Taliaferro Co. They are both buried in Tuscaloosa, AL, and are seen in the 1840 Census in Tuscaloosa. Their son Daniel Alexander Farmer, b.1798,Taliaferro Co., d.1869 Tuscaloosa, AL. He married Elizabeth (Eliza) Hardin, b.1798 in Taliaferro Co., d.1871 Tuscaloosa, AL. They are listed in the 1860 Census in Tuscaloosa Co. as is Agnis (now age 85). They are buried in Mt. Pleasant Cem.in Tuscaloosa, AL.
I would love to know for sure if they were born in Taliaferro Co. and who their parents were and where they came from!!! Also any other children they had.
Does anyone have any info on these relatives of mine or of any other Farmers in Taliaferro Co.? If so, please let me know what you know and maybe we can help each other. Thanks!
