Long ago there was a Primitive Baptist Church at the crossroads settlement known as Pleasant Hill that was called Ephusus church. This group was spondored by another Primitive Baptist church in Woodland, Georgia and I am under the impression that the Ephusus records were placed with the sponsoring church in Woodland, Georgia. The town of Woodland is a small town and only three Baptist churches so this shouldn't be difficult to follow up by inquiry. My wife's ancestor, William Mitchell, was an elder of that church and donated the land for the structure which no longer stands. If you locate the records, I would like to know of it.
Good hunting. Robert T. Rusell
