I am interested in this question too. Are there records that contain more than the names of the bride and groom and date?
My guess is no but I would like to know for sure!

Just in case, my marriage of if interest from Talbot Co is Issac McCrary married Irena Cosby on Jan 9 1840. This info comes from FamilySearch.com and I would think that if there was more information in the record then they surely would display it.

(names in this record on the Family seach site are transcribed as "Isaac McCray" and "Arrena Cosbey")
