Michelle: John Q. Adams married Sarah Amanda Corley on August 12, 1845 in Talbot County, Georgia. They are in the 1850 & 1860 Talbot County Census with 2 children Nancy 3 years old (1857)& John (1859).
John Q. Adams enlisted in "A" company,4th Infantry Regiment of Georgia, May 20, 1862.
Laurian Sarah Amandy Corley was the 3rd of 6 children of Isham Corley (born S. C. abt.1800-died May 7, 1849, Talbot County)& Elizabeth Coombs (born May 4, 1800,South Carolina,died October 26, 1889 in Talbot County)& was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Talbot County.
John and Sarah moved to Naples, Texas sometimes after the Civil War & before the 1870 census. Her brother Isaiah Corley (born June 7, 1829-died Jan24,1899)& his wife Nancy G.T. Bates Corley, moved to Powderly, Lamar County, Texas, probably along with the migration of John & Sarah A.
