Nancy,

I believe that L. J. Childers is a son of John Childers and Nancy Hammock. In 1850 of Talbot Co., GA "Jackson" is listed as 19 years old. In the 1860 Census of Brooks County, GA "J", age 30, and Jane are listed with children. In 1870 they show up in Madison Co., FL
