William W Johnson and Mary "Mamie" Lou Rasco were married 21 Jan 1900 in Americus, Sumner County Georgia. The 1900 census lists them there with three of the four children born to William's first marriage to Mary Simmons. They were married 8 October 1893 in Marion County Georgia where all of their four children were born. They were Clarence Elton, born 1894, Mary Lillian, born 1896, Willie Lester, born 1897 and Fred Herman, born 1899. Their mother Mary (Simmons) Johnson died between the birth of Fred Herman, 11 Sep 1899 and 21 Jan 1900, when William married a second time to "Mamie" Rasco. Mary, William's first wife, was born about 1874 in Marion County Georgia and was the third child born to John Franklin and Martha (Lawhorn) Simmons. Mary Lou "Mamie," William's second wife, was born 12 Sep 1879 in Macon County Georgia and was the third child born to Henry A and Sallie P (Horne) Rasco. William and "Mamie" had three children, Ernest William, born 1900 in Georgia, Mamie Pearl, born 1902 in Alabama and William Vassa, born 1905 in Georgia.

I have no record of William W Johnson other than the 1900 census and his two marriage records. According to that census record, he was born June 1874 in Georgia. However, the 1880 census lists in Marion County Georgia a William of the right age in the household of Henry and Martha Johnson.

I would like to contact anyone who links to this family in anyway.
