Looking for info on Giles Bowers, who was born in North Carolina in the early 1800s and had a brother, William. The two left for South Carolina at early ages. Giles married there around 1827 to Rebecca Giles. He had two children in SC, Mary Ann and John Wesley, and moved to Georgia around 1831, where he had four more children, James Alexander, George W., Sarah Jane and Martha. He may have lived in Sumter and Marion counties in Georgia. Would like to know his parents' names or where he was born. Thanks. Rodney Bowers
