I am researching my husbands' family history and have hit the biggest brick wall. IF any one can help I woudl appreciate it.

this is what I know-
Charles Price Collins [my husbands'great grandfather]was born March 30, 1878 in Stewart County, Georgia. His parents were Robert Austin Collins [b. October 21, 1853] & Cully Thomason [b. September 12,1861] I am told he was an only child. His father died January 8, 1880. He [Charles] was married 2 times. His first wife is where I am having troubles. Her name was Ada Nelson. They were married[guessing] abt. 1900 I am led to believe they lived in Stewart County, since their first child, a daughter named Verna Collins was born in 1902 in Stewart County. SOmetime after that I think they moved to Columbus, Georgia becasue their 2nd child Emmett Douglas was born in November 1905 in Columbus. There is a 3rd child, notes show as JIMMY, no birth information. I am also told that Ada died sometime during or shortly after having Jimmy. Jimmy either died at childbirth or in infancy sometime. Then Charles married Metta COBB (August 23, 1913) Metta was born September 15, 1894 in Russell County, Alabama. Charlie & Metta had 10 children:
William Harris b. April 18, 1914 Columbus Georgia
Maggie Eugenia b. June 10, 1916 in Lee County Georgia
Robert Austin b. November 6, 1918 in Stewart COunty Georgia
Charles Price Collins Jr. was b. October 21, 1921 County Unknown
James Howard b.March 24, 1923 Columbus Georgia
Richard Earl b. January 6, 1926 in Upson COunty
Betty Jo b. November 21,1928 County UNKNOWN
Audrey b. December 31, 1930 Upson County, Georgia
Gordon b. Oct. 27, 1932 Upson COunty
Donald b.November 4, 1934 COunty Unknown
After that mostly everyone has been easy to find in Upson County .
If anyone has a connection to Ada Nelson or know any info on her & Jimmy I would love to hear from you. I am beginning to feel like they are unfindable.
