Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Dixon Notes from "History of Stewart Co GA"

I would like to post this for (Genforum) archiving purposes. The notes from Mrs Dixon who wrote "History of Stewart County Georgia" ARE in the GA Archives.

Mrs Harry M Dixon Collection
Unit #: 16
Old Location #: 2246-16
TRIM? Number: RCB-48289
Floor: 2
Row: 88
Unit: 8
Shelf: 7
*There are at least 3 boxes with family files. The above is for the last box beginning with R surnames but it will help you find the box you need. I don't know how many other boxes of notes there are since employees did not offer any extra info and they do not seem to be cataloged or in any index. YOU MUST BE PERSISTENT. I was first told they "did not know of any such collection".
