Jean, Thank you for your info. I found the same book in the local library and was able to get the info. Since finding it, I have been to Lumpkin several times and was able to visit the remains of the mill. The people there are wonderful and have been so helpful. I live about a 3 hr drive from Lumpkin so if you need any info about the area or surrounding areas, let me know. I will be going back this summer, I'm sure, just to visit. I would be happy to take any pictures for you.

Thanks again for your offer of help.
Melanie Reynolds
